Full Moon Fiber Art

Suzy’s Shawls Coming Soon….

Suzy  texted me this picture of the shawl she’s working on.

It’s yesterdays morning light, it’s New Mexico, it’s fire hot and water cool.

I’m not sure how many shawls Suzy made this year.  But the one in the picture above is the first one I’ll be selling on my blog.   Suzy hand spins the wool and hand knits the shawls all year long.  Then I sell them on my blog in the fall.

The mohair that she uses comes from her angora goats, but she had other sources of fiber too. Some dyed, some natural.

Suzy’s shawls are as soft and warm as they look.

I bought one for Jon last year for him to drape over his shoulders when he’s writing.  His study gets drafty in the winter.   But I have to admit, this time of year, when he’s not using it, I am.  It’s just right for these autumn nights when I’m sitting on the couch reading and sipping a cup of tea.
