Feathers and moss, birch bark and seeds… wings and sunshine filtered through autumns leaves.
Those are the words that came to mind when I looked at Suzy’s latest shawl.
The green wool is naturally dyed from an Osage tree, the white is natural mohair from Suzy’s angora goats. It has a strip of yellow sunshine and variated wool, like every flower in our pastures spreading their seeds.
Soft and warm, wearing one of Suzy’s shawls is draping yourself in art.
Feathers and Moss is a unique blend of hand spun wool, some right from Suzy’s own angora goats, Lucy, April, Alice and Ruth. Others from fiber artists whose wool she loves to work with.
When Suzy is done hand knitting each shawl she washes them in a natural solution which makes them even softer. Their drape as natural and elegant as a butterflies wings.
