I hope you enjoy the sound of the sheep eating, seeing their heads pop up and down and witnessing the changing light as much as I did when I made this video.

When I was very young, I imagined eating hay like the animals in pictures and thinking how good it would taste ! I love watching your sheep and Lulu and Fanny enjoying the hay but it doesn’t look quite as tempting anymore !
I so get that Laura. I always felt the same about paper (does that sound weird?:) But there was always something enticing to me about paper. I too don’t think it so tempting anymore.
I’m always amazed how dry hay can bring so much satisfaction.
Ha! I never thought of it that way Laurie.
I love it. Thank you.
:)
it is so lovely, maria. what an eye and hand you have! a joy to behold your finished products of ‘scraps’…wow.
Thank you Nancy.
It’s sounds so rustle-y but then, to me, with the burbly crunching, almost like water – isn’t that weird?
I can hear that Amy, in the consistency yet with the irregularity of a “babbling brook”
I can’t get beyond thinking there can’t be much nutrition in that dry grass. I know they survive and thrive on that hay all winter. Animals worldwide have since forever. But I am stuck where I am stuck I say sheepishly.
Maybe Sharon if you think about it like dried fruit, or even seaweed, which is very nutritious.
