  1. Oh my. The King really is so playful and obviously wants to engage with Zinnia. I love the way he lifts his paw, not to strike, but in a very sweet way that I’ve seen in a tuxedo cat I had years ago.
Perhaps that’s part of why I enjoy seeing Zip so much.
My cat Jocelyn was feral, found at about 1 week of age, in a pile of leaves in a landscaper dump. I bottle fed her, kept her in a warm insulated “incubator” box until she was large enough to survive on her own. She was carried everywhere I went, wrapped in a washcloth, bottle fed every 2 hours for a couple of weeks or more. And the little scoundrel bonded to my husband, much like Jon and Zip, while she bit my ankles at every opportunity and refused to sit with, or be held by me. I think she would probably have made a very good barn cat!! Too bad I didn’t have a barn for her. lol

    1. Oh all that love and work. We just can’t predict what a being will do. You still did a great job taking care of Jocelyn. She probably would have loved a barn!
