A thin layer of ice covered the steam with all its bumps and ripples from the current. And although a fringe of ice edged this leaf, the duck weed remains green and very much alive.
I sat for a bit watching the water flow under the ice, that puckered and burst from the dry rock like the sun.
It feels good to be cold.

What beautiful natural art, so stunning.
I’m glad to be warm. Could never keep warm living in NJ for 35 yrs.
WOW MARIA…SO BEAUTIFUL. TAKES MY BREATH AWAY❣️
Thank you Wendy.
It does after this long hot summer and early fall. It feels fresh and cool. A new time,a change of life.
Those changes always inspire me Laurie.
