Fate

Fate is an elegant and odd sleeper.  Once she settles in for the night, there is no moving her until it’s time for bed.

She’s all legs and feet, the tip of her tongue often peeking out of her mouth.  Other times she tucks her nose under her tail like a bird.

She happily goes to her crate when we go to bed, unless I alter the routine, even the slightest.  Then she seems to get confused as if she doesn’t understand what I’m asking of her.

Fate is predictable when it comes to the sheep, or when we’re walking in the woods. But in the house  she can be quirky and often does things that makes me shake my head in wonder.  Which makes me love her all the more.
