More snow, not a lot, but enough to make it feel like winter. Jon was out this morning in his bathrobe, as usual, taking his morning photos and Zip was right there with him.

There are long icicles on the the bird feeder outside my studio window. Today I saw chickadees, sparrows (not sure what kind) a blue jay, a male and female cardinal, juncos, nuthatches, doves and at two different kinds of woodpeckers.
The Gulley bridge was hard to find on our afternoon walk. It’s covered in ice and snow.

I went looking for Witch hazel flowers in the woods and found them. They’re no bigger than a snowflake.

A little pine tree in the snow.

Wow. I find it a bit meaningful with that last photo of a heart-shaped clump of snow surrounded by thorns on the Eve of a celebrated birth whose Life ended similarly.
Oh, it’s a little white pine Amy, not thorns but pine needles. But I do love that you interpreted it in a way that made the most for you. Happy Christmas. :)
