The manure’s been piling up and I’ve been ignoring it. Not the manure in the pole barn that I clean up every morning, but by the side of the barn where the donkeys choose to go.
Two piles of manure were frozen under the ice and snow for the past couple of week. But today even it melted.
I fill up two wheel barrows and spread them in the pasture.
Zinnia helped by eating as much donkey poop as possible (I’ve given up telling her to stop) and Fate followed me around focused, as always, on getting me to tell her to “get the sheep.”
