What a great Bray! I don’t often hear that in your videos and it’s a favorite sound of mine. I have spent quite a bit of time in Greece, when I was younger and I loved waking to that sound! Donkeys are work animals there and very numerous on the islands. Great memories, thank you. Sound, touch and smell can evoke strong responses to memories. Sometimes welcome, other times not.
Our donkey Simon used to bray every morning. Fanny and Lulu are not as vocal. But it’s aways a gift when they let out a bray. I can only imagine the donkeys in Greece and the sound of them. I’m Glad this brought back the good memories LoisJean.
