Today I heard from my the Noble Town Fiber Works. They have begun washing and spinning my wool. They were good enough to let me know that they had some delays but the processing has begun.
I’m not sure how long it will take, but I hope to have my wool back as yarn and roving sometime in February if not sooner.
I also heard from Otter Creek Farms who process my waste wool into wool pellets. Both businesses are new and still figuring things out. I know how that feels, every time I create and sell something new, I too have to figure out pricing and shipping.
They are raising their price for processing so I may have to raise the price of my wool pellets slightly too.
I expect to get the wool pellets back in a few weeks.
