I started making another Holding Pillow today. This one based around the phases of the moon.
My idea was to use fabric with the night sky, but then, the owl appeared. It was stuck in with my bag of black scraps.
As soon as I saw it I knew the rest of the fabric for the pillow would revolve around it.
I stitched four phases of the moon on a circle of black fabric then used purple velvet for the bottom of the pillow. The back is made of purple velour.
I still have to stuff it, but will get to that tomorrow.
