Full Moon Fiber Art

Bookkeeping…Yawn

This morning I turned on the heat in the guestroom/office.  I wouldn’t get to my studio today.  I began  by getting the Potholders I sold over the weekend ready for the mail.  Then I started my book keeping.

At 11:30 I stopped to take out the oil pastels I bought to take to The Mansion today for my monthly art class.  It was the sky that gave me the idea to use pastels.  I wanted to make the point that the sky isn’t only blue, but at times, every color in the rainbow and a mix of them all.

But once I started working the pastels, which I’ve never done before, I decided to make it a class about experimenting with the pastels and how they can be used to create textures and blend colors.

When I had a good example to show my idea, I went back to my bookkeeping until it was time to go.

Back home, after the class, a pizza lunch with Jon, and feeding the animals,  the rest of the paperwork kept me busy until it was dark.

I’m looking forward to going to my studio tomorrow and finishing up the Potholders I started last week.
