Kitty Anne and White Hen were reluctant to come out of the coop this morning. I’m not sure why, it was 32 degrees warm enough to melt most of the snow that way still on the ground.
They fussed about it, clucking and stretching their necks out, looking in every direction as if expecting the unexpected.
They finally agreed it was safe and first Kitty Anne, then White Hen jumped to the ground. They immediately got busy scraping and pecking looking for something to eat.
