Zip was making paths though the snow before any of even got outside. We got at least a foot of snow, more than we’ve had all year.
The first thing I did was shovel a path from the house to the barnyard, then dug out the feeders. Jon was right behind me taking pictures in his boots and bathrobe.

The sheep came out of the barn when they heard me, but the donkeys waited until I shoved a path.

Constance was curious about my shovel.

That’s Zip Merricat and Asher, all focused on something happening in the woods. They can hear what I don’t see.

The snow came up to Fate’s belly, but that didn’t stop her from running around the sheep. She got pretty tired though. When we got back into the house she fell asleep in front of the wood stove.

Maria, I have enjoyed immensely every picture you’ve shared today. Thank you. I’ll bet you sleep deeply tonight!
I did sleep well Maggie! Thanks for your good words.
