My wool is done and we’re picking it up tomorrow. This is the first batch of yarn and roving from the Nobletown Fiber Works and I can’t wait to see what it all looks like.
Unfortunately, the mill wasn’t able to spin Issachar’s wool to the same weight was Merricat’s so I won’t have the dark brown and white barber pole yarn I was expecting. But there are always surprises when I pick up my wool.
I’ve learned to take what comes and make the most of it.
I’m pretty tired from all the shoveling today. It will be nice to take a ride tomorrow, a bit of a break and change in my routine.
I’ll probably take a day or two to sort through my wool before putting it up for sale. And I don’t expect to be making Dryer Balls till next week. But I will be contacting everyone on my list to make sure you get what you asked for before putting the yarn and roving and Dryer Balls up for sale in my Etsy Shop.

Smiley Kim!
Kim is kind of amazing Peg. She is at least ten years old and is so skittish. All the sheep she lived with for most of her life are gone, but she’s right there in the the middle and sometimes at the front of things.
I love your whole flock but Kim so special. She just magically draws your attention to her. She kind of has a glowy, heavenly aura around her pretty white wool. And of course her smile.
She really does have something special about her Peg. She is my oldest now too. Maybe it’s wisdom.
