Getting My Wool Ready To Sell

Robins Rug yarn, Merricat, Constance and Issachar yarn (Issachar’s wool is actually more brown than gray, I’ll get a more accurate photo of the color tomorrow.)

I’ve been working on getting my wool ready to sell all day.  I have it sorted out, now I just need to take pictures of it all and put it up for sale in my Etsy Shop.

Along with the yarn which is 3 ply worsted and 200 yards, I have roving, most of which I’ll be making into Dryer Balls. But I will put a few 8 oz bags up for sale for spinning and felting.

The skeins of yarn are $28 each and the roving is $40 plus shipping on both.

I’m still trying to figure out how to sell Robin’s rug yarn.  It comes in 120 yard bumps, but because of the thickness, one bump is the same weight as nine 200 yard skeins of yarn.  And that is reflected in the price of the processing.

But I’ll have more information on it tomorrow.

If you have any questions, you can email me at [email protected].

  1. It’s gorgeous Maria. You must be so excited. I find it amazing that these beautiful animals grow a product that can be humanely harvested, then used to create useful and equally beautiful items. A miracle!
