I sent off two Holding Pillows in the mail today. My Crow Holding Pillow was one of them. I finished it up yesterday and I have a feeling it will be the last pillow I will be making at least until next week.
That’s because my wool is here and it takes time to prepare it for selling and then selling it and shipping it out.
I have a list of people who have asked for Holding Pillows and I know I’m going to be looking forward to getting back in my studio after spending time shipping my yarn and making Dryer Balls.
I also have to get more materials for the pillows. I was using wool batting that I had left over from a few quilts to stuff them and scraps of interfacing that someone had given me (thank you!). Now I’m out of both and have to buy them before I make more.
But I already have a feeling for some of the Holding Pillows I want to make. Nothing exacting, but a feeling kind of like excitement at the thought of making the next one. And also trust, because I have no doubt the ideas will flow.

Maria,
I love the holding pillows and please add my name to the list of those interested in purchasing one.
Also really value “photo of the day” and the story of your chamomile tea!
Much thank
I’m so glad Carol and I will put your name on my list and be in touch. Thank you.
