Jon and I had plans to do our video together this afternoon. But we didn’t expect that he’d be going to get a chest X-ray to make sure he didn’t have lung cancer. We went straight from his doctors appointment to urgent care.
It was really kind of amazing how quickly it all happened. And just a few hours later he got an email from his doctor saying they found nothing wrong with his lungs, not even the start of pneumonia.
Thankfully all it did was throw off our plans to make our video. So we’ve postponed that till tomorrow.
Before Jon’s appointment, I was able to finish designing nine White Hen Walk-a-bout Potholders.
I have a few more suns left, and since they are selling quickly, I might use up all the suns. I’ve had that fabric with the suns on it for many, many years. I brought it to with me from Old Bedlam farm. It’s from the 1960s and I’ve always loved it. I just never had the right opportunity to use it.
Until now.
I love the idea of White Hen walking out of the dark into the light.

Thank heavens for Jon’s test results. I love, love the fabrics you’re using here…
:)
What a lovely woman you are (in the photo near your graceful hen). (And I share gratitude for Jon’s lung episode). Here’s to both of you breathing easy.
Thanks Micki.
I’d love to buy one. The middle row on the left and bottom row on the right are my favorites so far, love the yellow and greens. Also the ones with some black would work. Can you tell me what’s available still, and look forward to seeing more.
Hi LoisJean, Yes, I have one of the those for you. I’ll email you about it. Thank you! :)
