Every morning, after I put hay in the feeders I go to the barn to feed White Hen. While I’m there, Kim and Lori come to the gate looking for grain.
Last spring after shearing I could see that they needed a little extra to help them get through the winter. They are both older, Kim at least ten years old and Lori about eight.
None of the other sheep leave the feeders to come to the gate. They quickly learned that they won’t get any and it’s better to stay at the feeder. When they are done with the grain, Lori and Kim go back to the feeders to get their share of the hay.

Thanks Loraine!
I think Kim is one of my favorites of your beautiful sheep. She has an ethereal look about her. I could be projecting this upon her, I realize. Thank you for your care for all of your animals.
She does have a special glow to her Maggie. A softness.
