“These are dryer balls made from my sheep’s wool,” I told the clerk at the Post Office as I plunked down the blue shipping bags on the counter.
She looked at me quizzically and asked what dryer balls were.
“Right! I had never heard of them either until one year I had so much wool from my sheep I didn’t know what to do with it. And a friend suggested I make them into dryer balls.” I told her.
She got right away that they were a replacement for dryer sheets.
I’ve been at the Post Office a lot the past two weeks with boxes and bags of my wool. It’s winding down now. So far my Dryer Balls have sold out before I could get them into my Etsy Shop.
I made six more packs of Bedlam Farm Dryer Balls today. They are 3 for $20 + $5 shipping. If you’re interested in any you can email me at [email protected]. I take checks PayPal and Venmo.
Otherwise I’ll put them up for sale in my Etsy Shop on Wednesday.
I also have one 8oz bag of Ashers Roving for sale.
It’s a mix of Cormo, Blueface Leicester and Romney. It’s soft and spongy and according Suzy Fatzinger, lovely to work with. She’s hand spun Ashers roving before and bought some more last week. The roving can also be used for felting. You can buy it here.
