Full Moon Fiber Art

Rainy Day

A single Canada Goose flys south over the barnyard.  It makes a sound like a creaky door opening and closing.  The Goose turns and flies north again, taking the same path as if looking for something.

Four times the goose flies back and forth over the farm, then circles the back pasture and disappears behind the pussy willows and alders landing in the pond.

It rains all day.

Melting ice and rain pour from the gutter on the barn like an open spigot.  The ice is still thick in places, covered in mud and frozen manure, or worse, shiny, hard and slick.

But the pole barn is dry again and Kitty and Anne don’t mind the rain.  Zip mostly stays in the barn, except when Zinnia is around.

Then he comes out to be with her.
