  1. I loved listening to your sharing about your experience with spirituality. I am learning about my chakras. Could you share your resource? I also want to recommend, on utube, Patagonia’s “Lessons from Jeju. It is about the haenyeo woman who are fierce and unrestrained, but they are also gentle and connected to one another. Thanks, Kim

  2. Jon, I can appreciate your finding spirituality in the flowers. I have had a similar experience with our native flora of forest, fields and bogs. Being a bit of an amateur botanist I needed to know all the names. Once I knew their name they became “old friends” when next seen. I did not focus on their historical uses, lore etc. I just wanted to drink in color, shape, texture, form and the unique beauty of each species and imagine how I would reproduce it in art- color pencil or watercolor in my case. The whole process was spiritual in nature and deeply contemplative.
I truly appreciate your flower photography which I also find spiritual and easily leads to natural contemplation.
