I’ve drawn that chair enough I say to myself.
But then I sit on the couch and it’s looking right at me. “Come on it says, one more time, you know I look different today.”
And it does or more likely, I’m seeing it differently. I keep looking at the way the shawl that Suzy made is draped over one shoulder.
Shoulder? Do chairs have shoulders?
But that’s how I think of it, it’s what I see. And the folds of the shawl entice me too.
So I get a pencil and my sketch pad and once again I draw the chair that I blog from in our living room.
The chair that knows me so well, and I’m getting to know back.

You got me thinking about chairs. They have backs and shoulders and arms and seats and legs, and a few have feet. But I can’t think of a chair that has hands. Maybe I’ll draw one just for fun
I was thinking the same LoisJean, but you came up with more than me. I’d love to see the hands on your chair.
What a great mindset. Different drawings every time you look at the chair, because it must be different every time you see it. I want to bring quantum physics into this comment somehow but my mind won’t stand still long enough.
Ah, you’ve got me on the quantum physics Micki. :)
