Golden Moth Holding Pillow

I started the Holding Pillow yesterday.  While I was working on  Stitching Bird Holding Pillow, I spotted a few pieces of fabric on my work table that just wanted to get sewn together.

So when I got stuck on Stitching Bird, I worked on what became my Golden Moth Holding Pillow. It flowed with such ease. Maybe because it wasn’t the center of my attention, but something I saw from the corner of my eye.

It may have been the first pillow I made starting with the strips of fabric instead of the being inspired by the solid color.  But that part came easy too.  I knew when I saw it that the earthy green linen would be just right.

Today I stitched the golden moth, another quick and easy decision.
