Blue Baling Twine

There aren’t many weeks left of feeding the animals hay. That means no more bailing twine to tie onto the gate post.

I’ve been wrapping  the post and am getting down to the bottom.   This morning I began weaving a pieced of broken plastic from the gutter into the blue twine.

Normally I would have just thrown it in the garbage, but now it’s a part of my art.

  1. Maria, could the twine be woven into a mat, similar to your new yarn option of ropes to be made into a rug? Or a sort of screen? Maybe useful in the barn or the garden for climbing beans? It struck me that you’ve woven it so neatly around the wooden slat.
