So much of the snow has melted, but in the woods it’s still deep.
Laying on top of the snow are leaves and pinecones, pineneedles, bark, lichen, branches and bits and pieces of them all.
I took their pictures as they are.
They fell from the trees
and came up from the ground
The wind picks them up
and drops them off
They ride with the melting snow

Ah.. the lines, veining, pods, flower shapes and organic squiggles of nature- how lovely. Especially like the bottom tiny vine curlicue. So sweet but easily overlooked. Needed your camera to capture the magic beauty of the ordinary.
They were all so tiny Lois. I don’t really know which will work until I get home and look at them on my computer. But I know when I see something that looks special to me.
