I raked out my Back Porch Garden yesterday. Little bits of green are popping up. Today the first spring rain soaked the soil.
Zip saunters between the raindrops, finding the dry places on his way to where he wants to be.
With spring comes next winter’s wood. Our first load was delivered on Friday, yesterday the wind began drying it out, today I covered it with it with a tarp to keep it dry.
I fed Fanny and Lulu in the Pole Barn. They sheep don’t mind the rain, but the donkeys prefer to stay dry when they can.
