I went to my studio this morning after sending off some more of my Bedlam Farm Dryer Balls. I was all ready to work on the quilt I started some weeks ago. I made added a few pieces to some of the squares, but then got stuck.
It just wasn’t working and I didn’t want to force it.
So I went outside and finished stacking the firewood.
There are always small shavings of wood left on the ground after I stack the logs. I raked them up and put the biggest pieces in a pail to use as kindling. The very small ones, I dump in the barnyard for the donkeys to nibble on. They are nice and fresh, mostly ash and oak.
Fanny and Lulu got right to it. The sheep were only interested for a short while.
Zip kept me company while I worked.
