Sheep Shearing At The End Of The Month

Robin enjoying the warm weather

The warm weather and rain we’re having right now will make the grass even greener and  more quickly.  Soon the sheep will be grazing again, maybe by the end of the month.

Around the same time that Ian will come and shear the sheep.  This time he’s coming in the afternoon, so I won’t have to set up the lights since we won’t be shearing as it gets dark.

All the sheep’s wool goes past the knuckle on my index finger (how I measure it) at least 2 1/2″ long.  I’ll drop the wool off  at Nobletown FiberWorks in June and probably get it back in February.

I won’t expect it sooner this year, like I did last year.  And I once again,  me and the sheep thank you all for buying my yarn, roving, Dryer Balls and Wool Pellets.
