Rain or shine the sheep will be shorn tomorrow. In the morning I’ll put them in the barn so without grazing or hay, so they can fast before shearing. Ian will be here at 3 o’clock and we will be ready for him.
No need to set up lights this time, he’ll be done long before it gets dark. I’ll have my plastic bags ready to be filled with wool, but other than making sure the barn is clean, there’s not much for me to do.
Terry and Braeden will be here to watch like last time. Maybe I’ll get another video of Ian singing one of his sheep shearing songs, or telling one of the old sheep shearing tales that he learned from his grandfather.
