Kim stood by the barnyard gate looking at me. The other sheep were still in the pasture and I was just about to bring them and the donkeys in from grazing.
I opened the gate and quietly said, “Come with me Kim.”
I walked towards the pole barn and she followed me. Then I opened the gate to barn where I fed Kim and Lori grain all winter. Kim came into the barn and I brought her a scoop of grain.
She doesn’t really need it now, as you can see in the picture above her belly is filling out. But I only have a little grain left and it won’t keep over the summer, so I thought, why not give it Kim.
She ate it all up and I let her out of the barn just as the other sheep started coming around. Maybe they could smell it. Or they just know that when Kim is in the barn, it’s because she’s getting grain.

Now she comes looking for it Peg. And even gives a little baa.
