A while ago I was listening to the news and something I heard stuck with me.
It was just before the Russian Victory Day Parade and the journalist was interviewing someone who was considering going to the parade, knowing that it was possible there would be an attack by the Ukraine, because of the ongoing war.
Every day when I hear the madness that is going on in our own country, I think about what one of Russians they interviewed said.
When asked if he was worried about going to the parade, he said, “Yes, we worry and we go on with our lives.”
I take this advice from someone who knows, in his DNA, how to live with a Dictator.
Even though it may not alway seem like it, we do still have options here in American. There are still things we can do to make our voices heard.
What good is all the worrying, if we forget to live our lives.

Thank you for this message.

Thanks Nanc. Meditation has done wonders for me. It’s not a drastic change, but a change that enters my life slowly and I find balancing.
So very true.
Amen to that! I’ve come to the conclusion that all the current chaos can only steal my joy if I allow it to.
I’m with you Josie, I’m not going to let that happen to me.
The famous saying reminds us.
“Worry does not empty tomorrow of its sorrow,it empties today of it’s strength “
Oh that’s a good one Loraine, I never heard that before. Thank you!
