My Woodland Mediation Potholders come directly from my walks in the woods. Each walk a meditation of its own, where I look to the natural world to help me understand myself and the world around me.
I’ve been taking pictures of mushroom for years now and although I don’t know their names, I feel like know them pretty well. So it was easy for me to conjure and stitch the ones I’d like to meditation under.
And the snail…well… who better to teach the lesson of slowing down.

I just read about the world champion snail race in England on Utube. The winner gets a head of greens in a goblet. My kind of race.
