I finished my Spiral Dance Meditation Mat today.
It took me a while to find those strips of fabric to edge each side, but once I laid them next to the unfinished Mat, I was surprised at how “right” they were.
This Mediation Mat has a mystical feeling to me. It’s filled with symbols… the spiral, the third eye, mountains, the layers of earth, and the chakras, yellow and purple inner strength and higher self.
I was reading Leaves of Grass when I woke up last night, I can’t speak to it, its more a feeling, but I read this passage again when I got up in the morning and took it with me into my studio as I worked on” Spiral Dance.”

Oh Thank you Karen, This one is sold, but thank you for asking. I’m working on a list of People I’m making Meditation Mats for. I’ll keep making them even when I’m done with my list.
