Every time I took a picture of my latest Meditation Mat in my studio, the colors looked all wrong. So today, after finishing the top and sewing on the back I took it outside, laid it on the grass and took a picture, showing its true colors.
I don’t know its name yet, but still have to finish the mat, that goes inside. By the time I get done with that, I have no doubt the name will come to me.
It’s interesting because although it’s mostly shades of green, much of it feels to me like looking in a shallow light dappled stream (hmmm…).
This close up, is actually light dappled, with sun light coming through the trees. This afternoon when I got to my studio (I went with Jon to his Foot Doctor this morning) the piece I made that I was going to put between the rocks, kept nagging at me.
So I reworked it, making it more minimal, focusing on the wave fabric.
Then it all fell into place.
I hope to have it all done tomorrow.
