Constance’s Complaint

I didn’t get to my studio today, instead I did our June bookkeeping, trying to keep up with it so it doesn’t pile up.

I understood Constance’s complaint when I closed the gate to the back pasture this morning after they were grazing all night.

I’d rather be in my studio, just as she’d rather be out grazing whenever she feels  like it.   But that wouldn’t be healthy for her and if I spent all my time in my studio,  I’d never get the art I sell in the mail or get my bookkeeping done.
