Lisa sent me this picture of Spiral Dance in the place in her yard where she likes to meditate. It’s great to see it outdoors.
It’s one of the reasons I made them so the batting can be easily removed for washing. I also use a heavier material for the backs.
There’s something special about seeing my work out of my studio and in its new home. I make my art so it can go out into the world and seeing it where it belongs is very satisfying. It also feels good to know it’s fulfilling its purpose and is being appreciated.
It belongs there for certain.
As if it has been there with her for years.
