I always make sure to have a little vase of flowers (pine and berries or dried in the winter) on the old toothbrush and cup holder above our bathroom sink.
I do it because I like to look at them no what I might be doing in the bathroom.
Last night as I was looking at the flowers when I spotted the most interesting looking insect. It looked more like a stick and leaves than a body and wings.
There are three flowers in the vase right now, and as I got a closer look I saw that each one had a bug on it.
So I took their pictures before putting the little vase of flowers outside for the night so the insects could fly or crawl away and live their lives outdoors where they were mean to.
Do you see the teeny tiny inchworm?
The second one looks like an earwig but that first one is really weird. Cute little inchworm!
It was the first one who caught my attention, I’ve seen them before, but not until Carolyn left her message did I know it’s name. That inch worm didn’t want to leave the flower.:)
Earwig
Yes Georgette and the first is a Geranium Plume Moth, thanks to Carolyn for that…
My app says the first one is a Geranium Plume Moth Middle one is an earwig.
Oh Geranium Plume moth is a beautiful name Carolyn. The earwigs I know pretty well, they congregate under the seat cushions outside. :)
