Ooh, I’ve never thought to look for a snail in water. Then again, I don’t have a shallow “see-through” stream near me (mostly reservoirs) so my sightings have only been land snails. I’ll have to keep an eye out next time I’m near the water’s edge. And could you tell if that was a tiny offspring to the left, on the edge of the rock? Or another of those half-inch larvae-looking creatures?
I wasn’t expecting it either Amy, although I’ve seen them in our pond before. And yes, there were a bunch of baby snails on the rock next to the snail. Good eye!

What looks like smoke?
It’s the light on the moving water Sandy. I loved all the different textures in the picture. Had no idea they’d turn out that way.
