A few days ago my Picture of the Day was of my ewe Kim looking around the corner of the barn.
Carol, a fellow artist who reads my blog, was inspired by the photo and did a drawing of it. She called it her colorful version.
I just loved it.
She captured the essence of Kim. My photo was more monochromatic, yet all the color that Carol brought to her drawing, give the piece an immediacy that is in the photo. That feeling of capturing the moment yet being very alive at the same time.
she got Kim’s aura – the pose around the corner and the expression. really quite remarkable.
