It’s Jon’s 79th Birthday on Saturday so we’re going away today overnight to celebrate.
We’ll go to our favorite Inn in Vermont, a place that we can immediately relax in as soon as we get there. We’re not looking for adventure, just a little time away together.
Jon wrote about his celebrating his birthday on his blog saying… “If anyone out there wanted to celebrate my birthday, I would welcome it, helping the Cambridge Food Pantry hold the line by sending some food.”
We’ll be back sometime tomorrow.

My husband and I go to a cabin in the Georgia mountains at least once a year. There is always a leather book on the coffee table where everyone that stays leaves a note the day they leave.
We go back through each of the books see what we wrote each year as we ended our visited. It is also fun to read what other people leave on the last day of their visit, you start to recognize their names from year to year as well as the name of their dogs.
Oh that sounds lovely Teri. How interesting it must be to see the things you wrote in previous year and to get to know other people that way. A living story….
