It is the work that Jon has been doing with his Flower Art over the past years that helped me see the art in this picture I took of the dogs in the woods.
Jon’s beautifully blurred flowers tell a story all their own, in a way that is uniquely his. Finding the essence of the flower not in its literal representation, but in the colors, forms, lines, light and darkness that they are. And most important, in the feeling he finds in the flowers, that comes from deep within himself.
All the pictures I took in the woods yesterday were out of focus. This one is a happy accident.
