
It seems like a long time ago that we first let the sheep and donkeys out to graze after the winter.
But Linda reminded me of that day when she sent me a picture of the wall hanging I made called MayDay Grazing hanging in her home.
It’s in good company with the other art on her walls. I will admit, I liked seeing it on the other side of the door from the mushrooms.
Grazing is very different than it was back in May.
Now, in places, the wildflowers are almost as tall as the sheep. Much of the grass is too long and yellow for the sheep to eat. But there’s still plenty of low growing green underneath it all. And the donkeys are happy to eat the long grass the sheep can’t.
