I want to thank Lois for sending me this video. I made me appreciate our hens, KittyAnne and Mean Hen even more than I already do. Actually it makes me appreciate chickens in general.
It’s similar to how I appreciate how farmers grow so many vegetables so well, when I plant my vegetable garden every spring and watch it grow, or not, and get what food I can from it.
What a miracle those eggs are that I pluck from the roosting box or buy from a neighbor when our hens aren’t laying.
A good reminder for me to grateful for each egg.
