Tuesday Is My “Busy Day”

The tiny flowers growing on the succulent that Vicki sent me.

I call Tuesday my busy day.  The day I volunteer at the Cambridge Food Pantry, the day Braeden comes to help around the farm and then my yoga class in the evening.

I still got to my studio this morning and finished the top of my latest Meditation Mat.  I also chose and washed the material for the back of it and my “Misfit Quilt”.

Braeden and I did some good work cutting up the pile of branches left from when the limb of the apple tree broke over the summer.  I thought they’d be there for years, but then I got the idea to have “B” help me.  After less than an hour of work we got almost of the pile cut into smaller pieces.

I told “B” we’d burn them in our Winter Solstice fire and invited him and his grandmother Terry to come back again and join us as they did last year.  “B” was surprised when I told him I had my first S’more.  We both like the idea of having them as part of the Solstice Celebration.
