I brought back a little bouquet of flowers for Jon from the back pasture after meditating at the stream this morning.
I didn’t see the bee when I picked the flowers, only when I got back to house. He was still cold, just barely hanging on. I’m hoping when he warmed up he found the dahlias which are loving all the rain and the cold nights.

Not a flower, but I also I saw this sparkly mold growing on scat, on my way back from meditating. I’m not sure whose it was, but I think those are apple seeds inside it. The mold was about an inch long looking more like a small furry animal than a fungus.

And on the door frame to the house I saw this little creature. No more than a 1/4 inch long it looks like a frog in jello with antenna.

The insect is a Clavate Tortoise Beetle. Nice shot of it.
Oh Thank you Debbie. I’m going to look it up and find out more about it. I can see why it’s call a Tortoise Beetle. :)
