Welcome

Welcome to my new website,  Fullmoon Fiber Art, formally YesNo Quilts.

I’m still making and selling Quilts, potholders and handbags out of recycled clothes and fabric.  The new site is  a reflection of the changes in my work and life.  It should also be easier to contact me and see my latest work.  I’m still working out of my beloved Studio Barn with my studio dog Freida at my side.

I’m  stocking shelves and figuring out how to work parts of the site, so bear with me and if you have any questions or comments you can now email me at maria@fullmoonfiberart.

I’ve changed one other thing too.  I’m no longer Maria Heinrich.  In the spirit of recreating myself I’ve changed my name to Maria Wulf.  (Wulf is my grandmother’s maiden name. Without knowing it she was an early inspiration to my creative life).

So, thanks for coming by,  have a look around and come back soon.  There will be more photos and blog entries chronicling the process and progress of my work.  And more photo’s of Freida too.

  1. Congratulations! You seem to have found your “place” of happiness. No one can ask for more than that because that entails so much. Good Luck!

  2. Maria, How wonderful for you! I am delighted with your new life and your new website. There will be good things happening for you and
it pleases me to see such growth in your work. I can see a ripple effect as you give encouragement to others. Good for you girl. You make me proud of my gender. Veronica

  3. Congratulations, Maria! Your work is beautiful and I admire you for finding small projects that people can afford. The studio at night looks so welcoming. I am so happy for you that the donkeys have come back and happy for Rose that the sheep have come back. Happy for Jon that he has you Freida, Rose, Lenore and Izzy. I wonder how long it will be before you have some chickens again – maybe not. Oh yes, also the barn cats. Peg in British Columbia

  4. Congratulations girl. You don’t know me, I follow Jon’s blog, but I’m happy for you, and stirred by your courage, resolve, strength of spirit. You’re a light. Well done, and good luck.

  5. Maria,
Congratulations on the new web site. It’s very classy, and I particularly like the picture of the Studio Barn. I can sense your warmth in this site. For some odd reason, I could never sense the feeling of what I believe to be your personality in the previous site.
I envy you being able to tend to the donkeys the way you do. I know that donkeys can be cantankerous, but those two have always seemed so docile and sweet to me.
Good luck with all your new and old artsy cradfty endeavors.
    Hugs,
Masrje (or Marjorie, as Jon knows me)

  6. I have navigated through the website and love the quilts and purses. I am looking forward to having the “itsy” working in the future. I also wanted to say that I love that picture of the studio barn. Good luck in the future. I was not able to get the subscribe to work though. It may be “operator trouble” however. At least that’s what my husband and sons often tease me with. God bless!

  7. Bravo on your new site! It looks awesome. You must be so proud, and rightfully so. Best of luck with the site’s evolution. Will be still looking forward to your blogs and hope they’re easy to acess. (I’m no techno geek.)

  8. Congratulations! All your changes are positive and your happiness is evident. Are we going to hear more (or see) marriage quilt? Keep doing what you’re doing!

  9. I love the colors and artwork of your lead border. Your artwork is very unigue. I’ll pass it along to friends.
    Congrats!

  10. Love your new website! The colors in it are exciting. The design is such that it just invites you to come on in a take a look. Congratulations. It’s impressive.

  11. First, I must say congratulations. I love the name, your adopted new last name and the reasons behind it. I also love the quilt hanging behind Freida! Is it for sale? Also, the blue “sparky”bag is sweet. Like to know about that too. 🙂 Thank you Maria. Penny

    1. Thanks Penny, the quilt is sold as is the blue sparky bag. I am making more sparky bags, so I can make a similar one. it’s about 8″x12″ and is $40 + $8 shipping.

  12. Congratulations on the launch of your new website, Maria. I think that this site is of benefit to all who stop, look and linger here. Your work is a feast for the senses as well as a fine investment in creative fine arts. Continued success to you in all things textile; to your life in general and to your lovely circle of friends.

  13. Hi Maria,

I love your new website and think your name change is terrific and especially since it was your Grandmothers maiden name and she inspired you in some way to become the wonderful artist you now are. What a wonderful testimonial to her memory!

I love the artistry at the top of the page with the full moon, the barn and scenery…perfect for your business!

I enjoyed the night photo of your studio..it looks so warm and welcoming. I can see why you love it so.

I think you should think about a rooster instead of chickens…unless of course…the crowing would bother you or Jon. Myself I would love it! Whats a farm without a rooster, right? Hahaha

In the past Jon has briefly corresponded with me since my husband got ill with lung cancer and it has been a great comfort and help to me in coping with his illness and death. (By reading of his struggles, etc.) I am so happy for you both..and love reading the blogs about your upcoming wedding there at the farm. I am glad you decided to marry at Bedlam Farm..its so much a part of you both and your lives. You are both such talented, caring and generous people…We, your fans and readers are so fortunate to have you both sharing your talents with us. Blessings, Julie V.

  14. Congratulations Maria on your new website. Love the last name you’ve chosen! I couldn’t see the picture of Frieda and the quilt. 🙁
Love looking thru you crafts. I sent your website to my grandaughter, who is an “artsy” person also…she LOVED your studio barn. I’ll be visiting your website regularly.

  15. Hello Maria,
Congratulations on your website and forthcoming marriage (I think I have said that before, but again doesn’t hurt). You and Jon are soulmates. You compliment each other so well. All good things are worth waiting for. Glad you got your donkeys and that Rose has her sheep. I am also glad that everything is working out so well for Freida. Sent my check for sparky bag too. Wishing you much happiess, Maria Wulf(great new name and the history behind it is wonderful!)
    Joanne Thomas

    1. Thanks Joanne. The animals make it all better. I received your check and I finished your bag yesterday and will be shipping it today or tomorrow.

  16. Hi Maria, Congratulations on your new website. I love all the wonderfully colourful things you make – you’re are very creative. I have enjoyed following Jon’s blog for a while now and would like to wish you both well in your forthcoming marriage. I remarried just over 3 years ago having been by myself (apart from children and dogs) for over 18 years. I must say married life is really great second time around. Tell me do you ship abroad at all, as I live in Cardiff which is in South Wales, UK. p.s. Jon’s photos on his site really brighten my morning…

  17. Congratulations on your new site. I love the colors and design. The name is perfect. The full moon must be quite incredible where you live. I would like to make a suggestion for easy projects you may wish to consider: place mats and napkins. Just a thought. Jon’s blog has been very therapeutic for me and you have been quite inspirational as well.

    1. I must( and it seems I must) give credit to Jon Katz for the fabulous photo of the studio barn with the full moon behind it. I took a picture too, but his came out better so I used it instead.

  19. Hi Maria, Have been following Jon’s blog for years and then yours. I love your new website and Jon’s picture is perfect. So happy for you both and for all the animals.

  20. Maria, I love your new website. Speaking of love, congratulations to you and Jon. Wishing you both the best!
