Minnie in my Studio

minnie in my studio 156

I brought Minnie into my studio today so she could walk around without getting into trouble.  She’s walking quite a bit and checked the whole place out, even trying to climb up on my chair.   She’s never been in my studio before so it was all new to her.  After a while she plunked down on Frieda’s bed (Frieda was not in the studio) and I picked her up an put her in the pink chair, where Mother and I used to sit together in my Studio Barn.  She fell asleep, purring loudly.

  1. She looks beautiful! And what a lucky, lucky kitty she is to have you and Jon looking after her.
Thank you for that and thank you for sharing this story.
    Love from Fran

  2. Thanks for posting the picture of Minnie. As a human lower limb amputee (my stump on the left), I recognize Minnie’s position as one that I been in when I sit down. So glad to hear that Minnie is healing well.

    1. Of course there would be different ways of sitting when our limbs are different. I really hadn’t considered it much Jen. But it’s good to remember it’s just a different way of doing things.

  3. Maria, she’s looking good! Her eyes are looking like a barn cat’s eyes. You’ve done so well with her. And you and she in Mother’s chair touches my heart.
