Combating The Cold

Yesterday after moving some boxes to put down my rug in my studio to keep the drafts out,  I saw again the samples of fabric that Uta gave me.

I was inspired to try to use them.

All silky and shimmery, I also emptied the bag of cotton scraps that Belinda gave me.  I like to juxtapose the two textures of fabric.

I worked on it some more today.  It has me in its grip, I can’t wait to see how it turns out.

This is what it looked like when I left my studio tonight.  The colors are so rich and warm, I think I might be combating the cold.

  1. I’m glad you found something to do with the fabric scraps and it is a lovely project that you started. Can’t wait to see the finished product.
