I made these Vintage Hankie Scarves from the hankies that Kathy sent me. They belonged to her grandmother who worked in a factory making the hankies. Some of them didn’t have a finished edge and that’s what made me come up with this new scarf design.
There are hankies on both the front and back of each scarf. And because of the shear fabric you can sometimes see thought a hankie to the one one backing it, giving the scarf a feeling of having more pattern and depth.
